Violet
| Violet came to our shelter with her fur severely, and in places painfully, matted. She also had blood in her urine. Our Mend-A-Paw Fund came to her rescue. Several bladder stones were found and while under anesthesia to remove the stones the matted fur was shaved. She is convalescing beautifully and doing well. She is a long hair dog with unusual markings- a white star on her chest and white front paws. Violet was adopted! |

Butch
| Butch was brought to the shelter after being hit by an automobile. The long bone in his rear leg was shattered. Mend-A-Paw to the rescue. His leg was pinned and wired in an attempt to save the leg. Unfortunately it did not heal and the leg had to be amputated. Throughout this almost three month ordeal Butch has remained friendly and sweet. Butch is currently convalescing at the shelter. He loves everyone and is at his happiest when someone is with him. Please get to the shelter and be that special forever "someone" for Butch. Butch was adopted! |
